Artwork Guidelines

To avoid delays and to ensure a high quality finish please follow our handy guidelines.

If your artwork isn't to the standards required, we may have to have it reworked at an additional fee of £15. You will be notified if your artwork doesn't meet our guideline standards and we will asked if you wish to proceed with the rework.

For Embroidery set ups we require High Resolution .JPEG, .BMP, .TIF, .EPS, .AI files.

The above files will be accepted and processed within a 24 hour time period (excluding weekends). First time set up fees apply for logos or graphics to be converted to an embroidery format, this is a one off process and your artwork will remain on file for any future orders.

We offer Standard Text Logos as a free set up. Bespoke Text logos (Coca Cola etc) and standard logos are charged at £9.99

*Standard Text Logos are considered any font already on our system, Examples of this are BLOCK 2, CASTLE, TIMES ROMAN, HOBO, BOOK SCRIPT, ARIAL ROUNDED, CASUAL SERIF, CHANCERY, COLLEGE, LUCIDA HANDWRITING OR ANY OTHER STANDARD MICROSOFT FONT. If you think this applies to you and you are unsure feel free to contact us on 0113 245 5050 for more information.

The following files a suitable for our Transferring services:

Vinyl Printing:- .JPEG, .BMP but Preferred .CST

Digital Printing:- .CDR, .JPEG, .EPS, .PNG, .AI, .BMP or .PDF

Screen Printing:- .JPEG, .PNG

We prefer .EPS or .AI files in a vector format as they are sharper and cleaner, They will offer a higher quality final product. If possible avoid .BMP files, they are workable but bitmap images usually have jagged edges which will lower the quality of the final product.

TIF or PSD BMP files - Suitable for single colour prints.

All artworks must be sized to the exact size (or larger) than actual printing size and must be 300dpi at the printing size. Colours should be on separate layer.

Screen Printing

All colours should be a spot pantone colour. As one layer is applied at a time during printing.

For more information on pantones please click the pantone image below.

Vinyl Printing
Vinyl printing uses single colours, if you require multi colour designs please follow the the file formats for the Digital Printing.

Click Pantone for colour options.

Digital Printing

Digital printing is the most adaptive form of heat printing, with an array of printable colours and unlimited possibilities.  Whatever your design, we can print and transfer it.

Embedding fonts or Changing them to Paths (or curves)

All fonts should be converted to paths (or curves- Depending on software used) or embedded within the image.  The means that the font become a graphic object and can't be changed. If this is not done then we won't be able to match your font if it is not on our system.
